Hack The Box (HTB) is a fast-growing, international cybersecurity training and talent platform operating in a highly technical environment. As the business continues to scale, it requires legal support that is not only technically strong, but also closely aligned with how the business operates day to day.
ClearCube supports Hack The Box through a dedicated partner (Anna Ward) working on a retainer basis - around 2 days per week on average - alongside flexible additional help from other members of the team as needed. This model enables ClearCube to act as a seamless extension of HTB’s legal function, working closely alongside a small in-house legal and compliance team.
Anna is fully integrated into HTB’s systems and workflows. This allows legal issues to be identified, prioritised, and addressed quickly, and ensures advice is delivered in real time and in context.
ClearCube’s role spans a wide range of commercial, corporate, IP and regulatory matters, covering both BAU and special projects. Specific expertise in intellectual property and consumer law have proved particularly valuable.
Drawing on deep experience in these areas, the ClearCube partners provide pragmatic advice that balances legal risk with commercial objectives, and supports informed decision-making across the business. The arrangement combines the accessibility and responsiveness of an in-house lawyer, with easy access to other senior team members with complimentary expertise.
